UTILITY DEPARTMENT
The City of Red Bud has an opening for a full-time employee as a Laborer in the Utility Department. Duties may include but are not limited to chipping brush, operating street sweeper, assisting in the electric, gas, sewer, water and street departments, reading meters, and power plant operation and maintenance. Job skills may include operating tractors, backhoes, trenchers, welding, concrete finishing, routine carpentry, and plumbing functions.
The City offers a very competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, vacation, sick leave, and pension. The starting salary for this position will be $23.15 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
A Valid driver’s license, physical, drug screen, and background check are required.
