Emergency Dial 9-1-1
The Red Bud Police Department is dedicated to protecting the safety and well-being of our community through professional law enforcement and community partnerships.
Our department currently includes eight full-time police officers, two crossing guards, and one animal control officer — all working together to keep Red Bud safe. From traffic safety and accident response to major crime investigations, our team is committed to upholding justice while serving the needs of residents and businesses.
Beyond enforcement, the department takes a proactive approach to crime prevention. Through outreach programs, school partnerships, neighborhood meetings, and regular patrols, we work to educate residents, deter crime, and build trust across the community. Our crossing guards play a vital role in ensuring safe routes to and from school for children, underscoring our commitment to protecting Red Bud’s youngest residents.
Our role also extends to crisis intervention and community support. Officers are trained to respond compassionately to mental health emergencies, maintain order at public events, and connect crime victims with counseling and resources. We also collaborate with other agencies, local organizations, and government partners to strengthen safety efforts and provide well-rounded support for those in need.
In every aspect of our work — law enforcement, prevention, emergency response, and community engagement — the Red Bud Police Department remains committed to fostering a secure, thriving community for all who call Red Bud home.
