Homeowners

  • Resident Information

    Please provide your demographic and billing information to the City.

  • Utilities

    The City provides gas, water, sewer, and electric services. Pay your utility bill here.

  • Trash & Recycling

    Trash collection is not provided by the City.

  • Fire Dues

    The Red Bud Fire Department, established by city ordinance, provides fire and rescue services to the City of Red Bud, Illinois, as well as rural areas of Randolph and Monroe Counties. Annual dues for fire protection should be made payable to the Red Bud Fire Department and may be dropped off at City Hall. For emergencies, call 9-1-1. For non-emergency questions, email redbudfire@gmail.com 

  • Communication & Internet

    Phone service is available through Harrisonville Telephone Company and local wireless providers. Internet options include Harrisonville Telephone Company, AT&T Internet Air, Viasat, EarthLink 5G, Mediacom, Hughesnet, XNET WiFi, and Starlink.

  • Yard & Outdoor Services

    • Burning of leaves or branches is allowed Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from sunup to sundown (trash and grass may not be burned).
    • Leaf/compost bags are available at City Hall, the Utility Plant, or IGA.
    • Limb pickup occurs Mondays and Thursdays (maximum 8” diameter); schedule pickup at 618-282-3339 or fill out this form
    • Free mulch is available Mon–Fri at 7:00 AM or 12:30 PM. Residents must have a city employee load the mulch. Notify the Utility Plant at 618-282-3339 or use this form
    • Onsite bulk water is available for hauling (machine accepts coins and bills).

If you’re renting in Red Bud, here’s what you need to get started:

  • Required Documentation:

    Provide a completed Resident Rental Form, valid photo ID, and security deposity (cash or check only).

  • Homeowner Info

    Renters should also be aware of relevant homeowner information including City utilities, billing, and communication resources.

  • Utilities & Services

    Gas, water, sewer, and electric services are available through City.
