North Arrow Partners Announces IHDA Funding Award for Lincoln Park Place Senior Housing Development
We’re excited to celebrate the announcement of Lincoln Park Place, a new affordable senior housing community coming to Red Bud!
Thanks to funding awarded through the Illinois Housing Development Authority’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program, this important project will bring 42 affordable apartment homes for adults ages 55 and older to our community. Located adjacent to Lincoln Park, Lincoln Park Place will help meet the growing need for quality, accessible housing for seniors in Randolph County.
The development will feature one- and two-bedroom apartments along with amenities including a community room, community garden, bicycle storage, laundry facilities, and on-site management—all designed to support an active, independent lifestyle.
At the local level, the project reached an important milestone earlier this year. A Special Use Permit was presented and discussed at the City of Red Bud Planning Commission meeting on January 20, 2026. Following its review, the Planning Commission recommended approval to the Red Bud City Council, which officially approved the Special Use Permit at its February 2, 2026 meeting.
This investment represents a significant step forward in expanding housing opportunities for older adults and strengthening the quality of life in Red Bud. Through strong partnerships and a shared vision, Lincoln Park Place will provide a safe, welcoming place for seniors to call home while remaining active members of our community.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2027. We look forward to welcoming this exciting addition to Red Bud!
